Hola Todos!
I was driving up to Seton Hall yesterday and I was listening to Mark Schaefer on his Marketing Companion podcast. In the episode, Mark discusses one of his mentors – Peter Drucker – a giant in the field, who even years of his death, is quoted daily in the social and digital world (including DigNuggetville).
In this latest book, Lessons, Mark discusses 32 “nuggets” from his career that he would like to pass on. In this episode (a review of Chapter 10 from Lessons), Mark talks directly to Drucker’s famous “5 Questions:”
- What is your mission?
- Who is your customer?
- What does your customer value (i.e., what’s in it for them?)
- What are your results?
- What is your plan?
As simple as they seem, these five questions are central to any organization’s operations, TikTok famous. Regardless if it’s a new entrepreneurial effort or an established enterprise, if the leaders do not have clear responses on any of these five questions, then they have work to do!
Something to think about today…
