Hola Todos! I hope we had a wonderful summer…
All summer, I have been thinking about a DigNuggetville re-boot. The blog turned 8 years old in August with over 300 posts in those early years. The last 3 plus years, however, have been very light with only a scattering of posts. Rather than rehash all the reasons why DigNuggetville went radio silent, I thought I’d spend the energy writing up new nuggets.
The very first post on DigNuggetville from August 2011, hammered down the mission statement:
“The number one mission of this blog is to disseminate, distribute, broadcast, circulate, etc., nuggets. As you recall, nuggets are takeaways – a kernel of information you would like to stow away for future use. Now in class, I made you record things in your journal (and yes I know a few of you out there still keep your journal alive). Either way, I want to continue our conversation and share more nuggets.“
As for the DigNuggetville conversation, the areas I’m most interested in are:
- All things Social/Digital marketing
- Personal Selling and Sales Management (particularly turnover and non-verbal communication)
- Social B2B selling
- Sports Marketing
- And of course, all things Apple and their various direct and indirect competitors
Finally, I do want to hear from YOU! Some of my highest ranking posts are ones that I answered questions from the DigNuggetville crowd. If you are having a problem at work or want to talk through a career related decision, these are things I help out former student colleagues with on a regular basis.
In summary, if there is something you would like to ask, please post a question or send me an email at Daniel.email@example.com.
Again, welcome to dignuggetville.com – 2.0!
